About the job Assistant Chief Financial Officer
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Chief Financial Officer assists in the planning, directing, and organizing of the hospital's overall accounting practices. He/She coordinates a wide variety of accounting and statistical data and reports, oversees treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, as well as insurance activities for the hospital. In addition, issues periodic financial and operating reports, analyzes, consolidates and leads all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports, directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business and financial conditions and their impact on the hospital's policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
2.Extensive knowledge of accounting, finance, reimbursement, budgeting, credit and collection as it relates to healthcare.
3.Minimum of four years of prior management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
4.Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good written and oral communication skills
