Business Analyst (IT Applications)

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. 

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the strategic planning and implementation of key projects and initiatives. 

This involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities, from the initial study of requirements to procurement, testing, management, implementation, and ongoing maintenance support of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth requirement studies to understand and document business needs and objectives.
• Involved in the entire project lifecycle, including strategizing, planning, and execution phases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful procurement and implementation of software applications.
• Facilitate effective testing processes and ensure applications meet quality standards.
• Manage the implementation process, including coordination with stakeholders and aligning with overall business strategies.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for applications post-deployment.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies to continuously improve project outcomes.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of IT Application Business Analyst experience.
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
• Good understanding of cloud technology, with fundamental training in this area.
• Experience in vendor and contract management, as well as change management/service request management, and problem/incident management.
• Prior experience in supporting government projects is beneficial.
• Experience in projects involving databases (e.g., Oracle, Postgres), middleware (e.g., WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), and automated software testing.
• Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Knowledge in the healthcare domain is advantageous.
• Experience in supporting application operations.
