The Logistics Executive role involves coordinating the daily logistics operations, including scheduling, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with safety standards. Job Responsibilities

Logistics Coordination:

    • Schedule daily collection and delivery of materials, ensuring timely and efficient service.
    • Resolve any issues arising during daily logistics operations.
    • Tabulate and manage trip allowances for logistics personnel.
    • Conduct weekly toolbox and training sessions to ensure staff are well-informed and compliant with operational procedures.

    Team Management:

      • Perform cross-training among team members to enhance versatility and team efficiency.
      • Oversee the maintenance of all logistics vehicles to ensure they are in optimal condition.
      • Manage the submission of necessary documentation for Safety Induction and other related courses.
      • Maintain high levels of team performance and discipline, addressing any personnel issues promptly.

      Operational Support:

        • Collaborate closely with the Customer Service and Operations teams to align logistics with overall business operations.
        • Provide backup for fleet supervisors during their absence and coordinate ad-hoc emergency responses.
        • Participate in incident report submissions, lead investigations to determine root causes, and develop corrective and preventive plans.

        Compliance and Safety:

          • Ensure adherence to the companys Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments.
          • Assist in drafting and revising SOPs and Risk Assessments to maintain safety and operational efficiency.
          • Follow all company policies and safety rules, promoting a culture of safety and compliance within the team.

          Job Requirements

          • Education: Minimum of ITE or Diploma in a relevant field.
          • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management.
          • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). IT savviness is essential.
          • Certifications: Possession of a Class 3 driving license.
          • Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin to manage diverse team communications.
          • Personal Qualities: Independent, self-motivated, with strong coordination and communication skills. Must be dynamic and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
          • Availability: Ability to work on alternate Saturdays and be on standby 24/7 as required.
