The role requires the incumbent to manage M&E project costs and value, ensuring financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. The individual will assist in the preparation, maintenance, and agreement of project accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Attend tender interviews for prospective subcontractors to evaluate their proposals.
  • Manage claims, variation orders, budget control, and settlement of final accounts.
  • Perform cost analysis and dynamic monitoring of project cost data to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Take control of M&E project cost and value management, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and agreement of project accounts.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Strong understanding of M&E systems and cost management.
    • Proven experience in claims, variation orders, and final account settlement.
    • Proficiency in cost analysis and project cost data monitoring.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
