About the job Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor
The role requires the incumbent to manage M&E project costs and value, ensuring financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. The individual will assist in the preparation, maintenance, and agreement of project accounts.
Responsibilities
- Attend tender interviews for prospective subcontractors to evaluate their proposals.
- Manage claims, variation orders, budget control, and settlement of final accounts.
- Perform cost analysis and dynamic monitoring of project cost data to ensure financial efficiency.
- Take control of M&E project cost and value management, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and agreement of project accounts.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying.
- Other Requirements:
- Strong understanding of M&E systems and cost management.
- Proven experience in claims, variation orders, and final account settlement.
- Proficiency in cost analysis and project cost data monitoring.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
