Blockchain Focused Investigator/Analyst (HK/SG)

Our client is a fast-growing, dynamic risk advisory firm headquartered in Hong Kong, with significant operations in Singapore and United States. They specialise in crucial areas of investigation, including business intelligence, asset tracing, litigation support, and crypto consulting.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Blockchain Focused Investigator/Analyst to join their specialised research and crypto consulting team. This is a critical role supporting complex investigations in the rapidly evolving digital asset space.

This position is based in Hong Kong, but we will consider exceptional candidates with the right to work in Singapore.

Responsibilities 

• Conduct sophisticated, in-depth crypto-focused investigations and virtual asset tracing.
• Utilise professional blockchain forensic tools to gather, analyse, and interpret complex data.
• Review and synthesize various sources, including corporate records, court records, and OSINT (Open Source Intelligence).
• Ensure all investigative work adheres to regulatory best practices, particularly regarding Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Know-Your-Transaction (KYT) compliance.
• Prepare detailed, clear, and compelling investigative reports in excellent written English.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet strict deadlines.

Required experience and attributes 

• At least two years of professional experience in due diligence, financial investigations, OR professional research.
• Proven hands-on experience and proficiency with major blockchain investigation tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, or Qlue.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in KYC/KYT compliance.
• Excellent written English and the ability to read and write Chinese.
• Meticulous, highly inquisitive, and capable of independent work.
• Must possess the right to work in Hong Kong or Singapore.
