Role summary: As the Head of Disputes in Asia, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex valuation and arbitration matters. Our client are seeking a seasoned professional who combines technical expertise with a strong network in the Singapore market. The successful candidate will lead the disputes & litigation team, ensuring exceptional service delivery and maintaining a reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strategic leadership: Provide strategic direction for the disputes practice, aligning it with the firms overall goals.
  • Client engagement: Engage with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Network building: Leverage your extensive network to attract top talent and expand the candidate pool.
  • Technical expertise: Apply your expertise in valuations and arbitration to resolve complex disputes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other practice areas and cross-functional teams.
  • Performance management: Drive performance, mentor team members, and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Business development: Identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in valuations, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
  • Strong network within the Singapore market.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
