Our client is a leading eDiscovery provider that thrives on leveraging cutting-edge technology, and transforming how legal professionals navigate digital data. Due to continued growth in the APAC region, our client has a new headcount for a Senior Project Manager to help support their clients in PRC and Hong Kong. As someone with a highly consultative approach to work, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from inception to delivery. That means planning, executing, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, modify, and implement project workflows, quality control measures, and best practices to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and defensibility of eDiscovery productions 
  • Consult with client to determine optimal approaches on data processing, review, and production. Initiate requests on behalf of clients by crafting and submitting work orders for the associated tasks 
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of job instructions and final work product
  • Set and effectively manage expectations for scope and delivery deadlines to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Establish informed project schedules based on a solid understanding of project goals, activities, sequences of events, dependencies, work effort, duration of tasks across departments, and associated resource requirements based upon the
    complexity of work and the size of the queue
  • Participate in project tasks including kick-off call preparation and execution, documenting workflows, standards, and project closure tasks such as final billing and data destruction
  • Develop and utilize strong analytical skills to research potential solutions and determine the appropriate course of action 
  • Participate in training opportunities for new team members
  • Ability to work on a global scale collaborate on solutions and effective communication with US and UK stakeholders. 
  • Support the project management team with administrative tasks including billing, scheduling, reporting, and answering client inquiries

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Legal Studies, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Relativity Certified Administrator, Nuix Certified eDiscovery Specialist) preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in eDiscovery project management and scoping, with a focus on data processing, imaging, OCR, and production using Relativity platform or similar 
  • Frequent travel between Hong Kong and China, and other APAC countries will be required 
  • Strong attention to detail, task organization, and client-service orientation skills
  • A team player with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience and familiarity with eDiscovery Services covering the full spectrum of the EDRM
