Manager / Senior Manager | Restructuring

Our client is a leading global professional services firm who are highly renowned for providing exceptional consulting services to its portfolio of global corporates, boards, private equity firms, law firms, and government agencies.

As part of our client's APAC regional expansion, our client is looking to add a Manager or Senior Manager to their Restructuring team in Shanghai. This role will engage in a diverse range of complex assignments, concentrating on financial and operational restructuring, as well as turnaround initiatives within and beyond bankruptcy or fiscal distress scenarios.

To be successful in this position, you will possess the expertise set out below:

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years (for Manager) and minimum 8 years (for Senior Manager) working experience in Big 4 accounting firms or financial advisory firms, with focus in financial restructuring, financial due diligence, and/or insolvency/bankruptcy experience
• Ability to prepare detailed complex financial analyses to understand the liquidity positions, cash flow needs and financial viability of companies
• Ability to identify key operational performance drivers and prepare cash flow forecast to support clients with a broad array of issues
• Other skills: strong in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Excellent in both verbal and written Mandarin and English
• A demonstrated genuine interest in financial restructuring
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with all levels of staff
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Team player who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment
