About the job Manager | Restructuring
Our client is a leading global professional services firm who are highly renowned for providing exceptional consulting services to its portfolio of global corporates, boards, private equity firms, law firms, and government agencies.
As part of our client's APAC regional expansion, our client is looking to add a Manager to their Restructuring team in Hong Kong. This role will engage in a diverse range of complex assignments, concentrating on financial and operational restructuring, as well as turnaround initiatives within and beyond bankruptcy or fiscal distress scenarios.
To be successful in this position, you will possess the expertise set out below:
- 5-6 years working experience in Big 4 accounting firms, financial advisory firms or financial institutions, with focus in financial restructuring, financial analysis and/or financial forecast/modeling
- Advanced level of experience in financial modeling with ability to build 13-week cash flow forecast and 3-statement financial models with limited oversight. Quantitative analytical skills: good understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications; good understanding of credit analysis
- Ability to prepare detailed complex financial analyses to understand the liquidity positions, cash flow needs and financial viability of companies
- Other skills: Bloomberg terminal/Capital IQ
- Languages: Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English; excellent written and communication skills
- A demonstrated genuine interest in financial restructuring
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with all levels of staff
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Team player who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment
