At SSH Talent, we are seeking an exceptional Sous Chef with experience high-end dinning establishments and pizza making solid expertise.

Our client, a leading organisation in Kuwait within the restaurants industry, is growing and opening more amazing international fine dining brands in the country. They offer a dynamic, fast-paced work environment that is both vibrant and collaborative.

EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF

• Assist the Executive Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and cost management.
• Manage and oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency.
• Train, coach, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of performance and professional conduct.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent guest experiences.
• Act as a representative of the restaurant in culinary events and functions.
• Assist the Executive/Head Chef in all areas of responsibility, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-end dining establishments
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
• Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and trends.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Bachelors degree in culinary arts or related field is preferred.
