Head of Building & Facility Management

Our Client

Our Client is a long‑standing leader in the FMCG (food) sector in Kuwait and the GCC region. Founded over 4 decades ago, the company has built a multi‑product, multi‑category portfolio and established itself as a brand loved across generations. They seek a high‑calibre Head of Building and FM to lead a transformation of the department, towards strengthening the company's position as a health‑forward, sustainable FMCG leader.

Role Purpose & Responsibilities

Responsible for providing strategic oversight of our Client's building infrastructure, facilities, and maintenance programs. The role ensures that all building development and maintenance activities align with the company's operational requirements, safety standards, and long-term business objectives, and provides governance, sets strategic priorities, drives infrastructure optimisation, and ensures that facilities support operational efficiency, employee experience, and corporate standards.

Preference will be given to candidates based in Kuwait, but we are open to solid talent across the GCC.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years experience in Building Development, Facilities, 

    Maintenance
  • Minimum 5 years in a managerial role, leading teams
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (civil engineering preferred)

  • Proven experience across commercial, industrial, or multi‑site environments
  • Experience in capital projects, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement
  • Fluency in English (Arabic will be a plus)

Technical Knowledge

  • Comprehensive knowledge of building systems, layouts, utilities, MEP, 

    HVAC, fire & life safety, and infrastructure services
  • Strong understanding of preventive & corrective maintenance programs, asset lifecycle planning, and reliability principles
  • Familiarity with HSE standards, statutory compliance, and risk control for contractors and outsourced labor
  • Experience with facility design review, space planning, office accommodation, and workplace optimisation
  • Exposure to capital project planning, infrastructure upgrades, and sustainability / efficiency initiatives
  • Ability to support events, temporary structures, and special projects in coordination with corporate functions
  • Competence in performance reporting, dash-boarding, and continuous improvement initiatives

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering

  • MBA will be an advantage

  • CCM or PMP certification will be nice to have

  • Other related credentials
