Welcome to the SEAhub Asia Careers page. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the career application form and submission process provided on this site. By submitting your application through our Careers page, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Application Submission
1.1. By submitting your application and uploading any documents or personal information (“Application Data”), you confirm that:

the information provided is true, complete, accurate, and not misleading; and

you are legally entitled to provide such information for the purposes of recruitment.
1.2. SEAhub Asia may reject, at its discretion, any application that is incomplete, unclear, inaccurate, or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of the role.
2. Use of Your Information
2.1. By submitting your Application Data, you expressly consent to SEAhub Asia collecting, using, storing, and processing your personal information to:

assess your qualifications, skills, experience, and overall suitability for current or future roles;

verify, validate, and vet information you have provided, including academic, professional, or employment history;

conduct background checks, reference checks, or other assessments as permitted by law;

communicate with you regarding your application and recruitment process; and

comply with legal, regulatory, or internal policy requirements.
2.2. SEAhub Asia may use third-party service providers to assist with background screening and verification (“Screening Providers”). By submitting your application, you agree that SEAhub Asia may share relevant portions of your Application Data with such Screening Providers, where necessary for these purposes.
2.3. SEAhub Asia will retain and protect your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and its Privacy Policy.
3. No Guarantee of Employment
3.1. Submission of an application does not guarantee an interview, offer, or employment with SEAhub Asia.
3.2. All decisions regarding recruitment, selection, and appointment are at SEAhub Asia’s sole discretion, and SEAhub Asia may withdraw, vary, or terminate the recruitment process at any time without prior notice.
3.3. SEAhub Asia does not guarantee that your application will be considered for all roles; each role is subject to separate evaluation and criteria.
4. Background and Reference Checks
4.1. Where applicable or required, SEAhub Asia may carry out background checks, including but not limited to:

verification of qualifications, certifications, and education;

employment history checks;

criminal record checks, where permitted by law; and

reference checks from individuals or organizations you have listed or authorised.
4.2. SEAhub Asia may collect additional personal information from external sources (e.g., previous employers, educational institutions, background screening agencies) for the purposes described above.
5. Accuracy of Information
5.1. You agree to promptly notify SEAhub Asia of any changes to your contact details or other elements of your Application Data after submission.
5.2. Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in your application being disqualified or, if already employed, disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
6. Data Protection and Privacy
6.1. Your application and personal data will be handled in accordance with SEAhub Asia’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations.
6.2. By submitting your application, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and retention of your personal information for the purposes outlined in these Terms.
7. Amendments to Terms
7.1. SEAhub Asia may update or revise these Terms from time to time.
7.2. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on this page.
8. Governing Law
8.1. These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SEAhub Asia is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
