Job Description

  • Support the Student Management Team in conducting preliminary investigations, fact-finding interviews, and preparing incident reports.
  • Obtain student and witness statements, compile evidence, and communicate case outcomes to students, parents, and staff.
  • Conduct regular patrols within the school and surrounding areas to maintain discipline and student safety.
  • Supervise students during recess and break times, addressing behavioural issues as required.
  • Coordinate and supervise detention sessions, maintain attendance and behavioural records, and follow up on detention defaulters.
  • Support the management of students on in-house suspension and liaise with Year Heads to ensure learning continuity.
  • Manage front counter and reception duties during school holidays, including handling visitors, enquiries, phone calls, and administrative support.
  • Provide data entry and other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Report operationally to the Student Management Committee and perform duties according to the school's deployment schedule, term timetable, and school events.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in one of the following:
    • Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) law enforcement agencies (e.g. SPF, CNB, ISD) with investigative experience; or
    • Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) regular service; or
    • Student management or equivalent roles in secondary schools.
  • Calm disposition when handling challenging student situations.
  • Firm yet respectful approach when working with students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, email, data entry, and Google collaborative tools.

Duration/Working hours:

17 months contract (Aug 2026 to Dec 2027)

Monday to Friday: 42 hours per week
