Youth Worker (Yishun)
About the job Youth Worker (Yishun)
Seeking a Youth Worker to support student discipline, intervention, and student development programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group intervention sessions for students
- Support investigations and manage student disciplinary cases
- Develop and implement intervention and preventive programmes (e.g. social-emotional learning)
- Maintain confidential student records and documentation
- Support crisis intervention and student case management
- Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and external agencies
- Assist in programme evaluation and reporting
- 40-hour work week (8 hours x 5 days), with occasional after-hours support if required
Requirements:
- Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field
- At least 1 year of relevant student management experience in Singapore
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Calm, responsible, and able to manage challenging situations
Duration/Working hours:
4 months contract (Jun 2026 to Oct 2026)
- 40 hours per week, excluding 1 hour for lunch break
- Services not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
