Science Lab Assistant (Yishun)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare teaching materials and learning activities based on the Primary Science syllabus.
• Assist students with the use of apparatus and equipment.
• Prepare training materials and support laboratory lessons.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory apparatus, equipment and reagents.
• Maintain cleanliness of Science Rooms and preparation areas.
• Maintain indoor and outdoor Science facilities, including ponds, gardens, hydroponics and aquaponics systems.
• Conduct stock checks and maintain inventory records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least a pass in PSLE English.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a school environment as a Science Lab Assistant.

Duration/Working hours:

1 year contract (Option to extend another year) Jan 2027 to Dec 2027

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5.00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
