Pastocal Care (Boon Lay)

• Provide one-on-one support as a dedicated mentor to Higher Needs Students

• Conduct informal engagement sessions to build grit, resilience and a growth mindset

• Lead simple age-appropriate physical activities

• Accompany students on after-school learning journeys (no admin/procurement duties)

• Oversee homework completion and on-task behaviour

• Support school-led home visits with Student Welfare Officer to engage parents/guardians

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience working with children/youth or in counselling/social support

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience planning or leading mentoring, educational or physical activities is an advantage

12 months contract (Feb 26 to Jan 27)

• Mondays to Wednesday, from 7.30am to 5.00pm (lunch break from 12.00pm to 1.00pm)
• Thursdays to Fridays, from 7.30am to 12.00pm
• Weekly Working Hours: 37.5 hours

Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays and school holidays
