Food Lab Assistant (Jurong East)

Seeking a responsible and organised Temporary Food Lab Assistant to support the daily operations of our school's Food Labs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of food labs and preparation rooms.
• Prepare ingredients and support food lab lessons and examinations.
• Coordinate ingredient orders and manage inventory records.
• Assist with filing, documentation, billing, and stock checks.
• Manage equipment loans and liaise with contractors on maintenance matters.
• Support departmental activities involving the use of the food labs.

Requirements:

• Secondary school qualification or equivalent.
• Relevant certification in food hygiene, food preparation, or food safety.
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to communicate and maintain records in English.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a school environment.

Duration/Working hours:

1 year comtract (Option to extend another 2 year) (Dec 2026 to Nov 2027)

Mondays to Fridays during school terms: 7.00 am to 3.30 pm,
inclusive of 0.5 hour lunch break
Preparation work may be scheduled on selected weekdays
during school holidays: 7.00 am to 3.30 pm, inclusive of 0.5 hour
lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays
