Herbarium Mounter (Botanic Gardens)

Sseeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Herbarium Mounter to assist in preparing plant specimens for the herbarium. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Sew basic stitches and mount plant specimens with attention to layout and composition

• Conduct quality checks on own work to ensure high standards

• Work independently to complete assigned tasks

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification: Higher NITEC / NITEC / O or N Level

• Diploma holders are also encouraged to apply

• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions

• Able to work independently

• Training will be provided

Additional Information:

• Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a job preview 

• Duration of the job preview (excluding travel) will be up to 2 hours

Duration/Working hours:

5 months contract (Immediate)

• Work Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 6:00 pm

• Friday: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
