Discipline Support Officer (Yew Tee)
About the job Discipline Support Officer (Yew Tee)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support student discipline through restorative practices
- Manage late-coming, detentions, in-house suspensions and support programmes
- Mentor and guide students requiring closer supervision
- Patrol school premises during recess, lunch and after-school hours
- Assist in investigations by obtaining student and witness statements
- Liaise with parents, students and school staff when required
- Prepare basic reports and maintain case records
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an enforcement agency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, firm and professional approach when working with youths
- Team player with sound judgement and discretion
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and email communication
Duration/Working hours:
3 months contract (Option to extend another 10 months) (Immediate)
Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00 am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 30 min lunch
break
Fridays: 8:00am to 2:30pm, inclusive of 30 min lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public
holidays, school holidays, HBL days, examination periods and days
where students are not in school.
