Discipline Support Officer (Ang Mo Kio)
About the job Discipline Support Officer (Ang Mo Kio)
The Discipline Support Officer (DSO) will support Sec 1 to Sec 5 students in the following areas:
- Conduct preliminary investigations, obtain statements, compile incident reports and support case documentation
- Supervise recess, lunch and detention sessions, including attendance and behavioural monitoring
- Facilitate student reflection, restitution and restorative follow-up activities
- Support in-house suspension programmes and student re-entry processes
- Conduct patrols during recess, lunch and lesson transitions to maintain campus discipline and safety
- Assist in conflict management, peer mediation and proactive discipline interventions
- The DSO will report to the Student Management Committee and follow the school deployment schedule.
Requirements:
- Preferably more than 10 years of uniformed service experience (Police, Prison Service or equivalent)
- Experience in youth-related investigation, behavioural support or restorative practices
- Strong conflict management, communication and incident documentation skills
- Professional, firm yet respectful approach when engaging students
- Able to work collaboratively with school personnel while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Duration/ working hours:
18 days contract (Jul 2026 to Aug 2026)
7 hours per day
