Pastoral Care Officer (Redhill)

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage and support students serving in-house suspension.
- Supervise students under reintegration programmes.
- Manage students placed on time-out from classes and guide them through restorative conversations and teachable moments.
- Conduct daily patrols around school premises to maintain order and discipline.
- Carry out spot checks on students' attire, grooming and general appearance.
- Support discipline management during school events and activities.
- Provide additional student management support for high-needs classes.
- Assist with other student discipline and management matters as assigned by the Principal.
Requirements
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Preferably 2–5 years of experience in a secondary school or related environment.
- Experience in managing and guiding secondary school students.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with teachers and school staff.
- Former uniformed officers (e.g., Singapore Police Force or Singapore Prison Service) are encouraged to apply.
- Passionate about working with at-risk youths and committed to supporting their growth and development.
Duration/Working hours:
11 months ( Aug 2026 to Jun 2027)
Monday to Wednesday:
9.30am to 5pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break.
Thursday to Friday:
8am to 3.30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break.
