Student Management Officer (Bedok)
About the job Student Management Officer (Bedok)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the school in student discipline, case management and behavioural interventions.
- Conduct preliminary investigations into student-related incidents, including interviews and evidence gathering.
- Supervise students during recess, lunch, CCA, detention and suspension.
- Manage student conflicts using restorative practices and refer complex cases to relevant school personnel.
- Maintain confidential case records, prepare reports and monitor students' progress.
- Work closely with School Leaders, Year Heads and the Student Development Team to promote a safe and positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- At least 2 years' experience in student management, youth work, mentoring or behavioural support.
- Experience in case management, conflict resolution, investigations or restorative practices is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and report-writing skills.
- Emotionally resilient, professional and able to build positive relationships with students.
Duration/Working hours:
1 year contract (Sep 2026 to Sep 2027)
Mondays to Fridays : 7:15am to 2:15pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch
break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public
holidays and school holidays
