About the job Student Welfare Officer (Choa Chu Kang)

  • Provide immediate support for students in distress and facilitate peer support programmes.

  • Monitor student welfare needs, progress, and maintain confidential case files.

  • Assist with referrals to community and specialist services, and prepare reports.

  • Support school-wide programmes on mental health, anti-bullying, and resilience.

  • Engage with parents and connect families to community resources.

  • Assist in school events, prepare statistical reports, and contribute to team discussions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred.

  • Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years experience in schools or education settings.

  • Experience supporting students with additional or special educational needs.

  • Strong communication, administrative, and record-keeping skills.

Duration/Working hours:

10 months contract (Option to extend another year)  (Mar 26 to Dec 26)

Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays
