Science Lab Assistant (Yishun)

Looking for a reliable and proactive Science Laboratory Assistant to support the daily operations of a school Science laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare laboratories for practical lessons and examinations.
• Dispense chemicals and set up laboratory apparatus and materials.
• Collect, clean, and store laboratory equipment after practical sessions.
• Safely dispose of chemicals and wash glassware.
• Replenish bench reagents during school term breaks.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Science Laboratory Technician.

Requirements:

• Minimum primary-level education (able to read and write).
• Basic knowledge of laboratory settings and chemical preparation.
• At least 1 year of relevant Science laboratory experience (from 1 January 2022 onwards).
• Positive attitude, good communication skills, and a team player.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.

Duration/Working hours:

2 years contract (Aug 2026 to Dec 2028)

Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays or off-in-lieu of the public holidays when the school is closed.

Service is not required for the entire months of June and December
each year, in accordance with the school holiday period.
