About the job Discipline Support Officer (Bartley)

Seeking a responsible and experienced Discipline Support Officer to support student discipline, campus supervision, and behavioural management in a secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preliminary investigations and prepare incident reports.
  • Supervise detention and in-house suspension programmes.
  • Patrol school premises and support student discipline during recess, transitions, and dismissal.
  • Engage with students, staff, and parents on disciplinary matters.
  • Support restorative practices and student behavioural development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience in uniformed services (SAF/SPF/SPS/CNB) or student discipline management.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to remain calm, exercise sound judgment, and work independently.
  • Basic IT proficiency for documentation and reporting.

Duration/Working hours:

14 months contract (Aug 2026 to Oct 2027)

Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break (8.5
working hours)
Fridays: 8:00am to 2:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break (5 working hours)

Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays,
designated Home-Based Learning (HBL) days and designated School
Holidays (e.g. Youth Day, Teachers' Day, National Day School Holiday,
Term breaks)

The end-time for workday before public holidays or designated school
holidays will be adjusted accordingly.
There will be a minimum of 4 engagement hours per workday
