Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise students in high-traffic areas (canteen, corridors, Multi-Purpose Hall) during recess, lunch, and transitions.
  • Monitor and record latecomers and maintain attendance/discipline data.
  • Support in-house suspension programmes with structured activities and student guidance.
  • Assist in preliminary investigations, fact-finding, and incident report preparation.
  • Collect statements and support documentation for disciplinary cases.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports using basic data systems (e.g. Excel).
  • Work with teachers and school leaders to support student behaviour management and discipline processes.

Requirements & Attributes

  • Preferably prior experience in uniformed services (e.g. SPF, SPS or equivalent) or youth-related work (minimum 3 years preferred).
  • Experience in behavioural support, case handling, or restorative practices.
  • Strong conflict management, de-escalation, and communication skills.
  • Good judgement, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
  • Comfortable working with students in a firm but respectful manner.
  • Proficient in basic data entry and record-keeping.
  • Team-oriented, culturally sensitive, and able to work within a school environment.
  • Committed to student development, restorative practices, and professional ethics.

Duration/working hours:

4 months contract (Option to extend 11 months) (Aug 2026 to Nov 2026)

Mondays, Wednesday to Fridays: 8:00am to 2:30pm, inclusive of 1hr
lunch break
Tuesdays: 8:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays
