Discipline Support Officer (Lakeside)
About the job Discipline Support Officer (Lakeside)
Seeking a committed and responsible individual to support student discipline, case management, and general school operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Student Management (SM) team in investigations, interviews, and incident reporting
- Collect statements, gather evidence, and prepare case documentation
- Conduct school walkabouts to maintain discipline (corridors, stairwells, canteen, play areas)
- Supervise student behaviour during recess and breaks
- Manage detention sessions (Tue–Thu): attendance, supervision, engagement, and follow-up
- Support in-house suspension cases and coordinate learning continuity with Year Heads
- Handle reception duties during school holidays (front desk, calls, visitors, enquiries)
- Perform basic administrative work (data entry, emails, records)
Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience in uniformed services / school discipline / youth case work (e.g. Police, Prison Service, MOE school support roles)
- Calm, firm, and respectful when managing students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with MS Word, Excel, email, and Google Workspace tools
Work Schedule
- Based on school term timetable and operational needs
- Includes supervision duties on selected weekdays (Tue–Thu)
- Holiday reception coverage during MOE school holidays
Duration/ Working hours:
18 months contract ( Jul 26 to Dec 27)
