About the job Science Lab Technician (Tampines)

  • Oversee daily operations of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics labs.

  • Prepare apparatus and materials for practical lessons and exams.

  • Manage procurement, inventory, and termly stock checks

  • Supervise Operations Support Officer to maintain lab cleanliness.

  • Support Science Centre of Excellence initiatives and school events.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by HOD/Subject Head.

    • Requirement:

  • Diploma in Science or related field, A-levels, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a school lab technician, preferably in secondary schools.

  • Strong lab knowledge and practical skills; good communication, presentation, organisational skills, and work efficiency.

    • Duration/ Working hours:

    12 months contract (Option to extend another year) 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026)

    Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch
    break
    Fridays: 7:30am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
    Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
    holidays
