About the job Proofreading Executive (City Hall)
- Perform two-way proofreading checks to ensure proofs match original legislation, including formatting, style, and amendment accuracy.

Review transcribed proofs to verify all approved and in-force amendments are correctly incorporated without errors.

Update and check hardcopy legislation for accuracy, including filing, arranging, and maintaining records.

Flag spelling, grammatical, or typographical errors and mark up documents according to provided checklists.

Prepare cross-reference lists and support scanning and filing of documents.
Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good understanding of document formatting, style, and proofreading standards.

Ability to follow checklists and manage multiple documents systematically.

Proficient in basic computer applications for scanning and document management.

Good communication and organisational skills.
1 year contract (Immediate)
