About the job Operation Support Officer (Admiralty)

  • Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, special rooms and General Office.

  • Open and close school gates, classrooms and office.

  • Perform gate and traffic warden duties during scheduled hours and school events to ensure student safety and smooth traffic flow.

  • Provide logistics support for daily activities and school events, including venue set-up and tear-down.

  • Arm and disarm the school alarm system daily.

  • Manage general stores: monitor stock movement, maintain cleanliness and notify OM when supplies are low.

  • Maintain school security by locking/unlocking doors and windows and being vigilant at school entrances.

  • Assist Operations Manager with basic facilities checks, fault reporting and maintenance coordination.

  • Assist front counter duties when CSO staff are absent.

  • Support printing, laminating and binding of approved materials.

  • Accompany vendors/contractors on site for safety and security.

  • Attend to student clean-up when required (e.g., spills, soiling).

  • Perform other duties assigned by school leadership and Operations Manager.

Requirements & Skills

  • Preferably 1 year of experience in school environment, cleaning, logistics or basic admin work.

  • Able to communicate in English.

  • Good team player with initiative and responsibility.

Duration/ Working hours:

12 months contract (Option to extend another year) Feb 2026 to 31 Jan 2027

Mondays to Thursdays: 9:00am to 6:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch
break
Fridays: 9:30am to 6:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Service may be required on some Saturdays (8.00am to 12.00pm)
