About the job Assistant Science Laboratory Technician (King Albert Park)

  • Open/close lab doors and windows daily; ensure gas taps and fans are switched off after use.

  • Maintain lab cleanliness clear bins, clean sinks, benches, shelves, cupboards, and return equipment to proper places.

  • Assist lab technicians in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Lower Secondary Science with lesson and exam setup, apparatus cleaning, refilling reagents, preparing specimens/chemicals, and inventory checks.

  • Support preparation and cleanup for GCE O-Level Science practical exams.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HOD.

    • Requirement:

  • GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Laboratory Technician preferred.

  • Pleasant personality with good communication skills and fluent in English.

    Duration/ Working hours:

    • 10 months 10 days contract (1 Jan 2026 to 15 Nov 2026)

    Work Hours (full day) Total 42.5 hours per week
