Food Lab Assistant (Bukit Batok)

• Maintain cleanliness of food labs, equipment, tables, sinks, and floors.

• Prepare ingredients and set up for Food & Consumer Education (FCE) and Nutrition & Food Science (NFS) lessons and exams.

• Manage utensils, cookware, and ingredients; conduct stock checks and discard expired items.

• Clean ovens, stoves, and arrange equipment, tables, and chairs weekly.

• Assist in culinary workshops and school activities involving food labs.

• Support teachers during lessons and handle deliveries and storage of goods.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Preferably with PSLE certificate (relevant experience also considered).

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Able to read and write basic English.

• Experience in school food lab duties and knowledge of food safety preferred.

12 months contract (Option to extend another year) 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026)

Mondays to Fridays: 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Daily start time may be subject to change based on timetable for the
semester but number of hours daily is fixed.
A total of 8 weeks of service will not be required for each year
- 2 weeks during Jun school holidays
- 6 weeks during Nov-Dec school holidays
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays
