Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Little India)

To support the critical Bus ETA system and ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of our data centre infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain physical and virtual servers.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
• Perform server administration, patching, upgrades, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Lead incident response, disaster recovery, and system restoration.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders during maintenance activities.
• Participate in 24/7 standby support when required.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferably 8–10 years of relevant experience in server infrastructure or data centre operations.
• Experience with Red Hat Linux, Podman containers, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Familiarity with storage, backup, and data centre operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting mission-critical or transport-related systems is an advantage.

Duration/Working hours:

1 year contract (Immediate)

Working Schedule:

Mon to Thu: 8.30am to 6.00pm;

Fri: 8.30am to 5.30pm;

24/7 standby or on-call support for critical system related incidents.
