About the job Youth Worker (Tampines)

  • Provide counselling, mentorship, and emotional support to students.

  • Identify underlying social, emotional, or academic issues and plan targeted interventions.

  • Conduct individual and group engagement programmes, including after-school activities and bridging programmes.

  • Liaise with parents, school staff, and external agencies when required.

  • Maintain proper documentation of counselling and engagement activities.

  • Share counselling tips and strategies with teachers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Counselling or equivalent.

  • Experience working with teenagers.

  • Skilled in engaging students via digital platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram).

  • Strong professional ethics and adherence to school SOPs.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and participate in ongoing professional development

Duration/ Working hours:

1 year contract (1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026)

Estimated 34 hours per week
