About the job Receptionist cum Admin Support (Bukit Batok)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage reception counter at General Office
  • Handle phone calls, enquiries, and walk-in visitors (students, parents, suppliers)
  • Maintain records, filing systems, and inventory
  • Manage lost & found items and incoming deliveries
  • Oversee sickbay: attend to students, maintain records, basic first aid, arrange early dismissal
  • Support student-related activities (photos, NRIC applications, health & dental checks, surveys)
  • Assist teachers with logistics (packing materials, coordinating deliveries)
  • Perform basic secretarial duties (appointments, meetings, contacting parents)
  • Maintain cleanliness of office areas, leaders' rooms, and pantry
  • Carry out other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum Secondary School education
  • Preferably 3 years' receptionist/admin experience (school environment is an advantage)
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, school e-systems)
  • Able to multitask, work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and customer-service oriented

Duration/Working hours:

1 year contract (Option to extend another year) Jan 2027 to Dec 2027

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 6:30am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
  • Fridays: 6:30am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
  • Other deployment hours will be done subject to exigencies of service and with mutual agreement between School and Employee.
