About the job Student Management Officer (Woodlands)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track attendance for corrective programmes and follow up on non-compliance
  • Coordinate session rescheduling and update parents on student progress
  • Conduct patrols during recess/lunch to monitor behaviour and enforce rules (e.g. no mobile phone use)
  • Engage students positively to prevent misconduct
  • Respond to student incidents, de-escalate situations, and guide behaviour
  • Prepare incident reports and liaise with Discipline Masters and school staff
  • Supervise corrective programmes and ensure task completion
  • Support school patrols, including out-of-school duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent
  • At least 1 year experience in student supervision, social work, or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm under pressure with good problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable using technology (e.g. body cameras, reporting systems)
  • Responsible, proactive, and able to build rapport with students

Duration/ Working hours:

12 months contract (Option to extend another year) (Jun 2026 to Jun 2027)

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
  • Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
