Content Development

  • Capture photos and videos at community engagement events.

  • Create content, including developing video scripts, storyboarding, and producing videos for various purposes.

Campaign Management

  • Contribute ideas towards planning and delivering communications campaigns.

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement communication strategies that leverage video as a primary medium to share the organisations vision and mission effectively (e.g., Human Interest Stories approach).

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Utilise video to simplify complex information for various stakeholders.

Other Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop the organisations annual communications plan.

  • Identify stories for publicity across multiple channels.

  • Curate and maintain an archive of community stories, photographs, and videos.

  • Grow the organisations social media presence and manage digital assets.

  • Develop a monthly content calendar and produce relevant content such as social media posts, videos, and infographics.

  • Design and produce marketing communication materials (e.g., banners, posters, digital display panels).

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum Diploma in Communications, with a keen interest or experience in communications (including photography, videography, social media).

  • At least two years of relevant communications experience, or a degree in Communications.

  • Strong writing skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil is an advantage, especially the ability to proofread written text.

  • Keen interest in current affairs, national policies, and community-related news.

  • Active social media user who enjoys networking.

  • Motivated team player with a collaborative mindset.

Duration/Working hours

 6 months contract (Option to extend)

42 hours per week
