Financial Reporting Associate - Private Equity

High-growth Private Equity firm is looking for a Financial Reporting Associate to add to the team! Candidates will have prior experience in Public Accounting with Financial Services / PE clients, or with prior corporate industry experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of monthly journal entry preparation, review and related reconciliations
  • Extensive interaction with our fund & tax accountants
  • Quarterly GAAP Financial Statement preparation
  • Quarterly GAAP disclosure items
  • Reconciliation of Partner Contributions and Distributions
  • Preparation of Federal and State Tax Estimates
  • Partner analysis and explanation of tax information as requested
  • Annual preparation of audited Side-by-Side Financial Statements
  • Sarbanes Oxley compliance

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Big 4 / Public Accounting experience with Financial Services clients highly preferred
  • Corporate Private Equity / Financial Reporting experience is a plus
  • Interest in long-term growth & promotion within the organization
  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
