About the job VP, FP&A
Private-equity backed healthcare organization has a critical opening for a strategic, hands-on, VP of FP&A to work closely with the CFO and PE partners to execute on an aggressive growth plan.
The organization has a plan to double revenue within ~36 months and is looking for a growth-conscious finance leader who has managed teams, built out a best-in-class finance function, and is comfortable and effective supporting senior leadership and presenting to Board of Directors.
Prior experience in rapid-growth, PE-backed, organizations is ideal. A strong background in M&A strategy and integrations is also a plus.
The VP of Finance will design the future of the finance function for this organization as it moves into its next chapter. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader, with extensive experience integrating systems, leading a dynamic team, and working cross functionally in a multi-entity environment.
Role requires US-based travel which will be more extensive in the first ~6 months, and will dial back once the VP of Finance has a full understanding of the operations.
Will work fully remote when located in Dallas area. Less than 1.5 hour direct flight from Dallas to the office location.
Ideal candidate has between 12 - 15 years of strategic FP&A experience and a desire to grow to CFO within a few years.
Requirements:
- BS, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related
- 12 - 15 years of progressive strategic finance experience
- Experience building out a best-in-class FP&A function
- M&A experience, including strategy & integration
- prior experience in a PE-backed environment
- Strong systems skills able to integrate multiple systems and lead a team through those implementations
- Executive presence; able to influence and support senior leadership, Board of Directors & PE-partners
- Ability to travel (US-based travel)
- Promotability - desire to grow to CFO seat
- Highly driven and entrepreneurial individual
