Here is a little more about what you will be doing:
- Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing MEP/HVAC/Plumbing construction projects from inception to completion.
- Assist in creating detailed project schedules, ensuring that timelines are met, and resources are allocated effectively.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Monitor project progress and update stakeholders regularly on milestones and potential risks.
- Assist in managing project budgets and track expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in project meetings and provide valuable input to resolve issues and improve project efficiency.
- Collaborate with the safety team to maintain a safe work environment and adhere to industry-specific safety regulations.
Here is the background and experience we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in MEP/HVAC/Plumbing construction projects is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, or other relevant software is a plus.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
