Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and analytical Data Scientist to join our team. You will be responsible for developing predictive models, analyzing large datasets, and providing data-driven insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate has experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization. This is a fully remote position, but applicants must be based in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights.
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Communicate findings through data visualizations, reports, and presentations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and solve business challenges using data science.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security while working with sensitive information.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with large databases.
- Experience with statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for data storage and processing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).
- Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) or deep learning techniques.
- Strong background in data engineering and automating data workflows.
