Job Title: Remote IT Support Specialist

Location: Remote (U.S. Only)

Salary: $60,000 $90,000 per year (based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide remote technical assistance to employees and clients. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring seamless IT operations. This is a fully remote position, but applicants must be based in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote access tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist with system installations, updates, and configurations.
  • Maintain IT documentation, user guides, and troubleshooting logs.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement new technology solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting networking, VPNs, and cloud services.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and remote support tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure, or AWS.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
