The purpose of this role is to provide services and support on employee services activities of the organisational unit in line with the company policies and procedures to achieve the team's objectives and targeted plan.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Create and maintain employee life cycle related information in the Business Solution any other ERP systems ensuring confidential, accurate and timely processing
- Maintain organizational hierarchy in the Rio Tinto Business Solution and any other ERP systems
- Responsible for end-to-end timesheet processing, including E-forms maintenance, data uploads, leave, ongoing data maintenance.
- Collect, simulate, and upload employee timesheets (including retro timesheets), overtime, and allowance data, and resolve any errors identified during simulation.
- Respond to employee queries regarding pay slips, deductions, and benefits, and provide guidance on timesheet and payroll processes.
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records (bank details, employee.salary, band change)
- Process changes related to new hires, terminations, and employment condition changes
- Provide support to the human resources team ongoing data and prepare standard reports for other internal teams and external state organizations as requested Support issue resolution and performs human resource information system troubleshooting to resolve queries
- Triage any human resource information system issues that may arise causing flow-on effects to Payroll Information Technology and other areas.
- Runs specialized report and perform routine data analysis to HR BPs and identified groups
- Provides case management service for all areas within the employee lifecycle.
- Ensures employee data and documents are properly managed.
- Inputs into and supports process improvement initiatives for the service area.
- Ensures that data management is compliant with global standards.
- When the information is not managed through the data management system, maintain and monitor data in manual tracking sheets to ensure compliance with the national and global law and regulation.
- Protect and keep the confidential Information.
- Provide supports to special projects and other initiatives as needed
- Support the deployment of operational projects and recurring annual activities such as salary review, talent review and performance management
General Requirements:
- Relevant university qualifications in HR, Data Management, Data Science, IT or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in HR systems and reporting, or otherwise the significant practical experience
- Knowledge of SAP and/or other ERP systems
- Able to poise under pressure and prioritize tasks;
- Able to build and maintain credible relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Strong communication and customer care skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS excel
- Experience with data analytical and reporting tools such as Power Bi, Tableau is a plus
- Intermediate or above English language is a plus
