Job title: Technical Trainer

Area: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the technical expertise of national staff and provide mentorship to improve instructional techniques and technical expertise. Assists technicians, apprentices, and customers in the assembly, commissioning, and service of Komatsu equipment
• Design, update, and conduct technical training programs, ensuring they meet the latest industry standards and company requirements
• Develop and maintain an in-depth technical curriculum for various types of equipment, including Komatsu dozers, drills, excavators, and other machinery
• Ensure training content covers equipment applications, maintenance, troubleshooting, and advanced operational techniques
• Collaborate to develop equipment-specific training materials and assist in equipment commissioning and service
• Carry out Train the Trainer programs to strengthen the technical expertise of national Technical Trainers
• Provide support in resolving customer technical issues related to equipment operation, maintenance, and repair
• Ensure all training programs comply with safety regulations and industry standards
• Conduct regular safety training and assessments to reinforce safe operational procedures and practices

Requirements and skills

• Advanced technical knowledge of Komatsu equipment
• Proven leadership experience in managing and developing technical training teams
• Strong background in engineering or technical fields, with a focus on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair
• Excellent communication and instructional skills with a focus on customer service and client relations
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make informed decisions
• Proficiency in software used for training management and reporting
