Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise daily electrical installation activities performed by contractors and subcontractors, and coordinate interfaces with other construction teams on site.
- Ensure that all electrical works comply with approved technical specifications, drawings, method statements, and design documentation.
- Monitor construction progress against the approved schedule, identify delays and potential risks, and report them to the Electrical Superintendent. Support the preparation and implementation of weekly look-ahead plans for electrical works.
- Identify and promptly resolve issues related to engineering, equipment, materials, manpower, and construction activities.
- Support the preparation and review of work scopes, progress reports, method statements, and other relevant construction documentation.
- Verify the availability and proper utilization of construction materials, equipment, and manpower. Inspect delivered materials to ensure compliance with approved submittals, specifications, and project requirements.
- Implement and promote measures to improve the productivity and efficiency of personnel, equipment, and construction activities.
- Communicate and enforce appropriate technical, quality, safety, and schedule requirements for contractors and subcontractors.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control measures and ensure compliance with applicable construction laws, codes, standards, and project requirements during construction and installation.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections before, during, and after work activities to identify and address unsafe conditions or practices.
- Immediately report any accident, incident, or near miss to the responsible manager and relevant personnel. Take appropriate action to secure the area and preserve evidence, where required.
- Perform all duties in accordance with the employment contract, applicable Mongolian laws, company regulations, and internal procedures.
General Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering;
- Minimum of 7 years of construction experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role;
- Knowledge of QHSE management systems and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation construction, installation, and related engineering practices.
- Previous experience working on international projects will have advantage;
- Experience in the construction of Overhead transmission line and installation of -house HouseConstruction phase of E-House;
- Intermediate level of English proficency;
