Job title: Service Technician ( Fitter )

Company: Technology and service supplier to the global mining and cement industries.

Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Job responsibilities: 

- Responsible for fabricating, assembling, maintaining, and repairing precision instruments and equipment/machines. They also undertake general application of a lathe, mill and drilling machine
and a range of welding equipment.
- Install, repair, commission and maintain hydraulic and lubrication systems.
- Inspect machinery and make repairs; erect and maintain machinery and equipment on site.
- Clean, lubricate and maintain tools.
- May be required to vary duties provided that the variation is reasonable and within the limits of your skills, competency, and training, provided the employee can perform the work in a safe manner.
- Immediately report to a manager and/or supervisor any incident resulting in harm or damage.
- The immediate rectification (if possible) and notification to management and/or supervisor of any actual or potential safety, quality or environmental incident, hazard, or occurrence.
- Identify and report nonconforming or potentially hazardous systems, work practices, products, services, equipment, and places.

- Maintain a commitment to Quality by following Quality Policies and Procedures
- Maintenance of other equipment on client sites
- Always foster a high level of customer service and proactively build the client relationship.
- Working with hydraulic tooling including presses, rams, HI torques
- Planning and Implementing maintenance tasks including task interactions, parts availability, tooling,
equipment, and relevant skills for: Preshut Preparation; Predictive Maintenance; Preventative, Maintenance; Corrective/Breakdown Maintenance 

Job requirements: 

- Fabrication Engineering / Mechanical or Heavy equipment trade qualifications are essential.
- Previous experience in a field service role within the industry is desirable.
Current State Manual Drivers License.
- Working at heights and Confined space certification
HRWL with WP/LF/DG/BR
- High standard of mechanical fitting skills
- A willingness to learn total product range.
- Experience and proficiency in Manual Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding and Gasless / Inner shied Welding is required in all positions, weld testing and qualifications to specific weld procedures will
be required.
- Ability to analyze and problem- solve as required with an interest in finding solutions and solving problems, troubleshooting, making decisions and managing customer expectations in high pressure
breakdown situations.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work with customers, contractors and other personnel on a daily basis.
- Strong customer service skills to build trusting relationships with your customers.
- Intermediate Level of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Demonstrated Industry and Product knowledge of mineral processing in mining Sector is desirable.
- Team player, able to interface positively with all team members.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast paced, changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- A high level of time management, multitasking, work planning with minimal supervision and strong motivation to set priorities for own personal goals.
- Good organization skills that deliver effective planning and housekeeping standards.
