Job Title: Technical Reporting Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Management of Accounting Team, Lead, manage, and control accounting functions.
  • Training and advising new and existing employees of non-routine reporting transactions.
  • Control and manage companywide month-end reporting and year-end closure. Manage shareholder month-end, and year-end reporting for parent company. 
  • Manage all accounting treatments, tax treatments, and associated transfer pricing implications on intercompany transactions monthly to ensure all accounts are recorded and reported IFRS complaints.
  • Manage detailed accounting treatments on operational activities and their accurate reporting monthly.
  • Control month-end reports, schedules, payments, and receipts.
  • Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, and overhead cost allocation.
  • Work closely with the Senior Financial Analyst to ensure accounting entries and reports are accurate for financial reporting packages and budget/forecast/financial analysis.
  • Financial forecasts and annual budgets

Requirements:

  • Qualified CPA, CPTA, and/or ACCA with experience working in a management role (minimum number of 1 to 2 years as a manager) in an Assurance and Audit environment with a large international audit/accounting firm. Additional tax experience is preferred.
  • Must have an expert level of knowledge in IFRS application and must be familiar with Mongolian Tax Laws / Transfer Pricing Regulations.
  • 5 - 8 years of audit experience with a large portfolio of backgrounds in heavy equipment distribution/mining/construction industries required
  • Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage time and adhere to strict deadlines and budgets.
  • Ability to provide supervision and guidance in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team of different backgrounds/levels of knowledge/skill.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation.
  • Fluent in both English and Mongolian
