Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration, maintenance, and support of financial systems, ensuring their reliability, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and work with IT and finance teams to implement improvements that streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate financial systems with other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate reporting.
  • Lead and participate in financial system implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring that all project milestones are met and that systems are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency across all financial systems. Identify discrepancies and work to resolve them promptly.
  • Provide support to finance teams and other system users by troubleshooting issues, providing training, and offering guidance on best practices.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and other tools that provide insights into financial performance and support decision-making.
  • Propose and implement new tools and methodologies that can enhance financial system performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of financial systems, processes, and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. A masters degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, CISA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial systems analysis, with a strong understanding of financial processes and systems.
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
  • Skilled in Power BI with advanced abilities in data modeling, report creation, and dashboard development, along with strong data analysis skills, experience integrating data from sources Excel and SQL databases, and proficiency in SQL for reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets and identify trends and anomalies.
  • Experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading financial system implementation and upgrade projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of data integration, financial reporting, and compliance standards.
