Job title: Senior Business Analyst

Company: International Mining Equipment Provider

Location: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and support financial systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
• Identify and implement system improvements in collaboration with IT and finance teams.
• Lead and support financial system upgrades, integrations, and implementation projects.
• Analyze financial data for consistency and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide user support, training, and best practice guidance for system users.
• Develop reports and dashboards to support financial decision-making.
• Drive data quality improvements and participate in business process workshops.
• Support change management efforts, including training materials and communications.
• Ensure thorough documentation of systems and procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial systems analysis, with a strong understanding of
  financial processes and systems.
• Experience with financial system upgrades or ERP implementations.
• Skilled in Power BI with advanced abilities in data modeling, report creation, and dashboard
  development, along with strong data analysis skills, experience integrating data from sources
• Excel and SQL databases, and proficiency in SQL for reporting.
• Experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading financial
  system implementation and upgrade projects.
• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. A masters
  degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, CISA) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets and
  identify trends and anomalies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross
  functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of data integration, financial reporting, and compliance standard.
