APAC is going through an exciting period of significant growth, where we are looking to double our market presence and enhance our partnership approach with our key customers. This shift in our approach to the strategic intent of our day-to-day activities has opened multiple new opportunities within the business, as we undertake this significant increase in our portfolio approach and fundamental change to our customer relationships.
Therefore, we are looking for highly engaged business development professionals who can strategically align our customers' needs, with the business deliverables to ultimately de-risk our customer's mining operations. This will be achieved by:
An on-time, first-time, every-time approach to serving our customer's needs
Implementing a strategic approach through maintenance planning and forecasting to pre-empt the customers' needs
An understanding of strategic alignment of our inventories, services, and sales that are on-demand to suit our customers' both forecasted and emerging needs
A superior understanding of mining operations, and the limitations presented by regional, geographical, supply chain, and market forces impacts, day-to-day delivery.
The ability to hold superior Senior Management level negotiations and discussions with key operators and executives, upon how it is moving to be the trusted advisor and partner into the future.
Seeking to identify gaps in the market, and develop entry strategies and solutions for existing and new customer segments in the relevant regions.
You will oversee a portfolio ranging from approx. $100-250M AUD in catchment by customer base and opportunity and have the chance to influence fundamental step change in our business.
You will understand where we have a competitive advantage and consolidate our position, you will work to win back areas that have lost focus, and you will change out our competitors' solutions with our superior options that give total Lifecycle ROI for our customers.
To achieve this, you will be a mining professional with a strong background in either engineering, metallurgy, plant operations, or services to the mining industry in the fixed plant arena. You will understand P&L, you must understand mining operations and the criticality of plant availability and planned maintenance and can work with the customer to align the provision of our plant and equipment, through to optimization and digitization to give superior recoveries and outcomes, per ton of product benchmarked in the industry to meet customers ESG outcomes.

Your ability to analyze the regional mining footprint, and understand geo-political and market forces, coupled with superior business intellect will allow you to analyze historic data, our customer operations, and demands and ensure we are maximizing our segment, simply by offering a superior market-leading product on time, every time with superior OEM support and service.
This role will also allow you to work with our global teams in innovation, Capital Equipment, digital products, and site services in the provision of technical excellence and market-leading innovation.
