ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team in Mongolia. In this role, you will support regulatory compliance, product registration, and quality assurance across all product categories and brands. You will work closely with the Regulatory Affairs Specialist and/or Manager to ensure adherence to local and international regulations, contribute to product launches, and maintain compliance with evolving legislation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current legislation, including product registration, ingredients, claims, packaging, and labeling requirements. Identify potential risks and communicate them to the Regulatory Affairs Specialist/Manager.
- Product Registration: Prepare and submit registration/notification dossiers, declarations, and certifications for company products in the assigned markets.
- Artwork Approval: Review and approve product artworks to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Agency Interaction: Liaise with regulatory agencies for product registration/notification and provide regular progress reports.
- Customer Support: Act as the first point of contact for customers and distributors regarding product safety and compliance.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Provide regulatory guidance and support to internal departments, including Marketing, Legal, and Quality Assurance.
- Inspection Support: Assist in preparing documentation and coordinating activities during scheduled and unscheduled inspections by state authorities.
- Communication: Build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams, suppliers, consultants, and government agencies.
- Confidentiality: Protect company proprietary information by ensuring proper handling of confidential data and executing confidentiality agreements as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Experience: 1+ year of related experience in regulatory affairs or a similar role.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mongolian. Russian language is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Preferred Experience: Experience working in multinational corporations is highly valued.
